Girl Z: My Life as a Teenage Zombie Wins Best Paranormal, Sci Fi Lovey Award!

Wow! Really a big surprise!! GIRL Z: My Life as a Teenage Zombie won the Best Paranormal, Sci Fi LOVEY Award from the Love is Murder Mystery Conference this past weekend.

It was a very nice conference, saw some old friends, made some new ones and was on a couple panels. The most fun was an informal chat .. just chatting with several readers about books, TV and what-not. Lots of fun.

Author Julie A. Lindsey and I braved the chat ourselves... Julie has a new YA book out, Deceived from Merit Press, which btw, has none other than author Jacqueline Mitchard as chief editor. (The Deep End of the Ocean, etc).  I'll have to ask both of them to come by the blog for a visit.

So, it was a great weekend. And how was yours?
