Neeta Lyffe, Zombie Exterminator Audiobook Giveaway

I was a bad author in 2014.

Last summer, Damnation Books published my novel, Neeta Lyffe, Zombie Exterminator as an audiobook. They hired award-winning reader, Becky Geist (www.proaudiovoices.com), and she and I had great fun discussing voices and background noises. The scene where Neeta is watching Ted with his flamethrower and hearing “Unchained Melody” in her head is a scream. Becky timed the narrative perfectly! We re-did the cover art, with my sister, Gina Koske posing with a Lyffe-Undeath tramp tattoo, a chainsaw, and kitchen gloves as she takes on the shambling undead. The finished product is a thing of beauty, and my publisher gave me TWELVE codes for downloads.

And I did nothing with them.

Look at this great cover! And I didn't tell the world? I am so ashamed!

I can apologize, and I really am sorry, Kim! I can say, “I was busy,” and I was, but who isn’t? I could give any number of excuses. But instead, I’d rather say

  1. No comments :( but YAY! I get to be the first.... Hmm... how would I kill a Zombie with an every day item. First off- I'd really have to be in a pinch, I'd make a poor zombie hunter- too much ick! That being said... I'd probably prefer to crimp a lamp or metal mop pole to use for killing.
    A) I can keep them at a distance and not get gore all over me YUCK!
    B) makes a good walking stick
    C) Easy to clean off (wood I would think has a higher potential of harboring blood borne ick)
    D) not easy to break

  2. I would thrust my trusty poultry shears through their nasty glazed over eyeballs. Yep. I most certainly would. I can also use to clip the brain stem if I'm in the right position. I love poultry shears. They are my very favorite weapon. (Of course, this doesn't include my zombie-killing machete.)

  3. Excellent choices, ladies/ I'd not thought of poultry sheers before, Michelle. Virginia, the thought about metal vs wood is a good one. Thanks.
