Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. It's been a while since I've picked up this book. It's not overly long, about 170 pages, but man! Some days it felt like torture! It was very hard to read this book, both because of the writing style and because people were so freaking mean to the monster. It definitely brought forth questions of tolerance and humanity.
This book fits into my work on many different levels. It was worth the read, but, thankfully, I don't have to read the story again. I doubt I would be able to handle it!
