I consider Frankenstein's monster to be one of the first zombies. After all, he was a corpse (or bits of corpses) that was brought back to life. The story itself is great, but the book is a little difficult to read (not because of language but because of the conventions of the day). It asks the question: "Who is really the monster?" And I am a big fan of anything that makes humans question their humanity.
So, when my friend sent me this link, I squealed with delight. I, Frankenstein is absolutely nothing like the original story, but it still looks really, really fun and I'm looking forward to seeing the film.
