Leaves are starting to Fall (nooo!), so it's time to hone that reading list for those cozy nights in your favorite chair with a cup of hot tea or something. Some cool new reading here! (The top photo only shows a small selection!)

And the Halloween Reading List with even more spooky reading is also coming up, so stay tuned! The thing I like about doing these lists is I find some authors and books new to me, as well!

Apocalyptic - Post-Apocalyptic

Flood - A Post-Apocalyptic Survival Thriller (The Reset Series Book 1) , Kellee L. Greene - How do you carry on after losing everything? They intended to save the planet but at the speed of light, the world catastrophically changed into a dark and deadly place. Millions of people lost their lives but for those who remained, the fight for their lives set. As those who remained worked to find a way to survive amid the destruction, others began a quest to take control of what was left. The race to survival is on, but in the end, will anyone win?

Pandemic, A.G. Riddle - A hundred miles north of Alaska, a US Coast Guard vessel discovers a sunken submarine at the bottom of the Arctic Ocean. It has no national identification. It doesn’t match the records of any known vessel. Deep within, researchers find evidence of a scientific experiment that will rewrite our basic understanding of the human race.

The Edge of Collapse: A Post-Apocalyptic Survival Thriller (Book 1), Kyla Stone - In the dead of winter, an EMP attack destroys the U.S. power grid. No electricity. No cars or phones. The country is plunged into instant chaos. But for Hannah Sheridan, it's the best day of her life. For the last five years, she's been the captive of a sadistic psychopath--until the EMP releases the lock of her prison. Battered but not broken, she emerges into a hostile winter wilderness with nothing but her determination to survive. Reclusive ex-soldier Liam Coleman  believed he was prepared for any disaster, until the EMP took everything he'd ever cared about in a matter of seconds. Two hundred frozen, perilous miles stand between them and their destination in rural Michigan. But the killing cold isn't the only threat, for Hannah's captor isn't about to let her go...

Unexpected World, (EMP Survivor Series Book 1), Chris PikeAssistant District Attorney Dillon Stockdale is on the phone with his daughter when an EMP obliterates the entire electrical grid of the United States. Anything relying on a computer is fried, including the plane his daughter is on. Gripped with the terrifying realization the plane has crash-landed somewhere in the expansive and dangerous landscape of Louisiana’s Atchafalaya Basin, Dillon sets out to rescue her before it’s too late. He's determined, well-equipped, and nothing will stop him. Or will it?
